Fashioning a fashion marketplace

We created a luxury fashion marketplace brand from the ground up, starting with research and analysis,
though to brand platform and full brand guidelines.

The eventual platform ‘EMERGING LUXURY’ is a succinct summation of the brand promise to support luxury fashion beyond the mainstream, neatly expressed in our ’emerging’ logo design.

Manifesto

We wrote a manifesto that expresses Gloriosa’s mission to support emerging designers from around the world, not just the usual countries.

Research & analysis

We analysed the marketplace and audience, exploring different positionings and setting out brand creation principles.

We then began to explore strategic platforms for Gloriosa.

Finally we identified the fundamental brand elements:
• Answering the seven brand questions
• Creating the ‘brand on a page’
• Identifying the tone
• Agreeing core values
