Creating clutter-free language
Ruthless Home Organiser is the brainchild of Ruth Taylor, veteran of Stacey Solomon’s ‘Sort Your Life Out’.

Brand Voice Agency were asked to develop a tone of voice for the brand and then express it through advertising, leaflets and a website.
Ruth is something of an inspiration, in her logical approach to home organising, and we found that her influence spread for beyond just the services she offers her clients. Pretty soon, our Ruthless home organiser marketing acquired a ruthless mindset, just like her. As a result, we kept both the design and language pared back and spare, and threw out anything that wasn’t useful or beautiful. (Just like you should in your spare room.)
Tidying the language
Both the design and tone of Ruthless needed to reflect the clarity of purpose the brand offers. We developed a writing style that was short but friendly, informative but succinct. Ultimately, we wanted to communicate the emotional rather than merely practical benefit of decluttering,
“YOUR HOME. YOUR SPACE. YOUR LIFE. RECLAIM IT” .
Other materials
The website was supported by a simple A5 leaflet, an ad in local magazines, and social media posts – all using the same tone of voice and key phraseology we had developed for the website. We also created a range of branding materials to ensure Ruthless maintained a memorable and impactful identity
