From brand voice to full marketing campaign
Newcross Healthcare asked us to help create a distinctive new voice for their brand.
Starting with an inspiring new manifesto, we went on to create a new identity, rewrite their website and make 11 videos.
Manifesto
The first thing we did was to explore brand language and tone of voice. We wrote a range of manifestos and headlines before settling on the one below, that everyone felt captured the spirit, passion and vision of Newcross.

The NHS is a national treasure. An institution we’re all proud of. But it can’t provide all the care Britain needs. That’s left to an incredible army of nurses and carers working with dedication across every part of the country.
At Newcross Healthcare, we’ve always worked closely with them from the ground up. We started off on the phone, manually matching the right carer with the right client. We believe it’s those personal connections that ensure care applies just as much to emotional needs as it does to physical. And now we have a big ambition. To transform and personalise care in the UK. We’re creating a local, national (and ultimately) global healthcare ecosystem. One that’s modern, joined up, efficient, reliable and most of all, effective.

Website
Based on the manifesto messaging and new tone of voice, the entire website was rewritten.
Identity
Together with our partner, TokyoCalm, the original Newcross Healthcare logo was updated to a more vibrant colour, with its cross freed from the restrictive circle, a new ‘Poppins’ typeface was introduced and identities were created for the four new ‘Lines of Business’ sub-brands.
Video
We created 11 videos in total. Eight were scripted: two launch videos (one aimed at clients and the public, one at healthcare workers), four for the ‘lines of business’ sub brands, one for the HealthForceGo app that connects workers and clients, and another promoting Newcross’s commitment to be the sector’s learning partner for life.
We also planned and edited three unscripted, interview-based films.
