Creating a consistent tone of voice across diverse markets
Our brief for ETF advertising came from the provider of one of Europe’s most extensive ranges of Exchange Traded Funds.
They asked us to create advertising concepts for use across digital and print platforms.
Exchange Traded Funds are a complex and technical area of trading. Luckily, having worked across many financial products and services previously, we understood the market and requirement very quickly.
Firstly, at Stage One we presented a choice of different straplines as well as ETF advertising concepts built around five different conceptual platforms: ‘Making it easy’, ‘Range’, ‘Curation’, ‘The Future’ and ‘Leadership/innovation.
At Stage Two, a couple of the conceptual platforms were taken forward for further exploration, plus two extra, ‘Curation’ and ‘Boutique’.
At Stage Three we knocked out ‘Curation’ and ‘Boutique and road rested both the remaining ideas through the four ETF categories of
(Range, ESG, Carbon Neutral and Crypto).
Finally, at Stage Four we settled on a blend of The Future and Leadership and supplied the final concepts to HANetf.
